British producer Moonkay recently released “Being Too Shallow” on the S O M I C O vol. 1 compilation, (S O M I C O, a brilliant collective for producers 18 and younger.) We couldn’t get enough of this hauntingly beautiful and elegant track that seems to float effortlessly like a lush daydream. We encourage you to check out not only this track, but the other 29 young emerging artists on this substantial compilation.

This MOCD Sunday Reset puts a spotlight on Hannah Ku (aka wetyourappetite on SoundCloud), a vocalist and musician from California whose acoustic song covers have illuminated an auspicious path ahead of her. Whether she is playing her guitar or ukelele, her voice will draw you in instantaneously. Hannah has a voice that caresses like the graze of feather. Her vocal abilities manifest earnest expression and sheer talent. Recently, booming and well-deserved attention was brought on by her latest cover of Stwo’s “Virgo w/Shay Lia,” when Stwo reposted it on his SoundCloud page last month. Aside from her covers, Hannah’s work also includes artful medleys that consist of well-known R&B tracks.
